Speech and Language Assessment
This includes an initial assessment or a review. The assessment will last 60 minutes and take place in your home.
The assessment will include a complete case history and information gathering. Then observation, informal and/or formal assessment which will be specific to your child.
Speech and Language Report
From an assessment parents can either request verbal feedback or a written report.
If a written report is selected then this will contain a full and detailed report outlining your child's strengths and difficulties. This will then include targets or recommendations whichever is appropriate for your child.
Speech and Language Therapy session
Once the assessment is completed we will collaboratively decide if therapy is appropriate for your child.
We offer weekly, fortnightly and monthly sessions based on your child and families need.
A therapy session will last for 45 minutes and will take place in your home or your child's education setting.
Speech and Language Demonstration session
It is vital to support the environment around the child. Sometimes a one-off demonstration session to Parents/Carers or Education Staff is all that is needed.
The demonstration session will last 45 minutes and requires Parent/Carer or Education Staff attending.
Additional Services
We are able to liaise with NHS Speech and Language Therapists, other Professionals and education settings, as appropriate to your child. This will create a holistic and supportive environment enabling your child to reach their full potential.
We are also able to provide a package of tailor-made resources, if required for your child at an additional fee.
