Heather

Specialist Speech and Language Therapist

Heather qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2017 and has experience in providing assessment and therapy for children and young people with a range of communication needs. Heather is currently a specialist in Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC) and has a special interest in working with children and young people who stammer.

Post-graduate training:

  • Palin Parent Child Interaction Therapy

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in Stammering

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy

  • The Lidcombe Program

  • Makaton trained levels 1-4

  • Pragmatic Organised Dynamic Display (PODD)
